Who We Are

Service. Support. Scholarship

The Black Women’s Graduate Collective (BWGC)  is a non-hierarchical organization that seeks to empower Black women graduate students at Louisiana State University. We recognize that Black women graduate students face unique layered oppressions that can impede mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Through community, and spaces specifically catered to Black women, we hope to improve upon the Black woman graudate student experience at Louisiana State University.
